Why is it important?

In many fields like mining and road machinery, hard, wear resistant coatings and components are needed to improve perfomance and lifetime of tools and machinery. at the same time these tools and materials are expected to be as cheap as possible and have as litttle enviromental imact as possible. Therefore, coatings with use hard wear resistant recycled materials come into play.
