What is it about?
DCPD is the highest solubility among calcium phosphates. Therefore, by tailoring it's solubility ability, it might improved the osteoconductivity of calcium phosphate bone graft materials.

Our findings shows that the calcium and phosphate ion released could be regulated by coating b-TCP bone substitute surface with an appropriate amount of DCPD
