What is it about?
Proximity sensor is used for identification of mobile robot. By testing and improving relationship sensing distance and thickness of metals, can determine exactly static performance of proximity sensor.

Why is it important?
Our findings show that distance of proximity sensor depend on the several of metals. This is a critical element to control dynamic for mobile robot using proximity sensor.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a large pleasure since it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. In addition, it also will complement content for my Master thesis.
