Deriving a new functional in the Laplace-Carson domain for the analysis of Viscoelastic Plates. Numerical Inverse Transformation Techniques are required to transform the solutions from the Laplace-Carson domain to the real time domain.

Why is it important?
Most of engineering materials show viscous and elastic properties. So they are viscoelastic. To simplify the analysis, elastic stress-strain relations are generally used for the analysis. However, viscoelastic consitutive relations should be used instead of elastic ones to define the viscoelastic behavior of real materials.
