Triazole derivative compounds have building bloc structures suitable for corrosion inhibitor towards carbon steel. The synthesis of this compound was performed utilizing microwave assisted organic synthesis methods.

Corrosion inhibitors offer a better solution for many corrosion problems occurred within the inner parts of metal pipelines in many industrial sites.

Perspectives

I hope the results of this research would give the alternative corrosion inhibitor to be applied in oil and gas pipelines, although the main purpose would be to contribute the basic knowledge concerning the correlation between organic compound's structure and its activity as corrosion inhibitor.
