Energy storage in a vessel
What is it about?
Thermal energy is stored in a vessel. A liquid medium is heated by using solar energy during summer and stored in a double vessel created from two concentric containers. As the air between the containers is sucked out, the vacuum like isolating layer is set up. The paper deals with study of the radiation heat transfer between containers. The decrease of the temperature of the medium is traced theoretically, comparison with our lab tests is added.
Why is it important?
Nowadays it is important to save energy. This is a kind of saving the thermal energy.
