What is it about?

Residual streses are most important factors that influencing could craking rezistence at welding of steels. Tha amount of this stresses depend of linear energy of weldig proces and we made a case study about this problem.

Why is it important?

Reducing the residual stresses in weld structures during fabrication is of priority concern. For this reason, the effects of welding process parameters on the residual stress are characterised in this work.
