What is it about?
Robots can be built by anyone, but to apply a robot to a specific and peculiar task, it needs to be engineered by developing codes and algorithms that can control the robot to be precise and predictable. The publication discusses the robot itself and the algorithms it uses for operation.

Why is it important?
Although robots have been developed for a long time now in the technologically advanced societies, their development in developing countries is still in its infancy or non-existent. The work is unique in this clime because it is practically a first and if further developed, it can spur the development of robotics as field in Nigeria.
Perspectives
The work is still very much primitive and my dream is to see a fully functioning arm, based on the foundation of this work, that can be applied in an industrial environment.
