What is it about?

Voltage collapse or blackout is a scenario that have been experienced by mostly all of us. The occurence of voltage collapse is due to imbalance between power generated by the energy provider and power consumption by consumers. Nevertheless, unplanned line outages or faults in transmission system can also contribute to voltage collapse. Undervoltage load shedding is the last resort to mitigate the voltage collapse occurence. Application of power tracing for undervoltage load shedding optimization has proven to provide a significant solution method to solve voltage collapse problem.
