Why is it important?
Firstly the method of using a solution from database is unified with general approach of modification of mechanical and functional categories during conceptual design process. And secondly this general approach can be applicable for mechanism database classification per functional signs.
Perspectives
The reason of writing this article was an attempt to develop a systematic approach when dealing with database sources which are generally unorganised and not ready for using in conceptual design.
