What is it about?
Arsenic is a hazardous substance that need to remove from water resources. In this work, the oyster shell which is also waste material was used as the raw material for preparing adsorbent to remove arsenic containing in the water resources. This paper the properties of adsorbent were characterized. The arsenic adsorption performances and mechanism of arsenic removal by using the adsorbent were also determined

Why is it important?
In this work, we showed alternative option for removing arsenic from contaminated water by using the waste materialas the raw matrial for adsorbent preparation. Thus, this process is low operating cost and easy to handle but it give high effective to remove arsenic from contaminated water.
Perspectives
The authors hope that this article should be useful for many areas which have the problem of arsenic contaminated in water.
