What is it about?
The article deals with processing files generated by BTT (Blade Tip Timing) systems containing times of passes tips of blades on rotated wheel round sensors mounted at a stator of the machine. This postprocessing of the files enables to estimate a damage caused by dynamic stresses of vibrating blades under big static stresses from centrifugal forces of blades.

Why is it important?
It is very important to know how damages are developed in critical places of blades, and how far are from a breakdown. The information may serve also for planing a number of spare blades needed for machine maintenance.
Perspectives
I hope this article ensures better information on the danger of not planed breakdowns which are extremely expensive for an owner of a machine.
