Perspectives

" The purpose of this study was to investigate if students could reliably assess their peer's work in a hybrid business course which involved several long essay-type reports. A key challenge was the volume of grading since there were three written project management plans assignments spread throughout the course. The secondary goal was to explore if the Moodle LMS could facilitate the peer assessment process and if it could calculate a fair grade representing the quality of peer assessing work. Data was collected from multiple sections of a course in the School of Business & Economics at the State University of New York." (p. 72)
