What is it about?

This paper investigates the engineering effort behind developing and releasing Linked Data. Linked Data is a set of lightweight principles that allows to publish knowledge graphs on the World Wide Web that are interlinked so that the user can discover further data easily. This data publishing practice is widely adopted in the life sciences, for open government data, and cultural heritage.
