Why is it important?
There are not any other studies which compare the e-government usage of a divided capital.
Perspectives
Nicosia, which is the last divided capital city of the world, is a subject for investigation due to its unique situation. North Cyprus faces embargoes due to the current status quo. On the other hand, research results indicate that physical isolation does not create digital isolation as the use and the desire to use e-government practices are high in Northern part of Nicosia as well.
