Eriksonian Analysis of Terrorism seeks to understand how individuals get radicalized through Identity Crisis. Identity Crisis may come in various forms like identity inherited from one's family and environment without questioning, or identity achieved as a result of life impacting episodes or events in one's life which may alter one's world perspective

Findings showed that strong identity or a strong world perspective without compromise breeds low levels of tolerance towards other views. Intolerance in its excessive form may breed acts of violence
