What is it about?
This article contains a literature review helping to build a social web analysis framework and a research agenda, both addressed to Public Security issues.

Why is it important?
In the bibliographic study, we identified publications on important technologies and applications in the area of sentiment analysis applied to public security, highlighting primary findings - directly linked to the target area - and secondary findings - in other areas, but that can be made a parallel with public security.
Perspectives
The literature review will help guide new studies within the project where it was conceived.
