What is it about?

We attempted to understand library students knowledge and understanding of plagiarism. This was in light of their need to teach information literacy on matriculation.

Why is it important?

Ethics is an important principle for librarians. It was thought essential that their understanding and comfort addressing academic malfeasance such as plagiarism was important for library instructors and practitioners.

Perspectives

My colleague came up with the concept and I was happy to also investigate the behavior. We were astonished at our findings and hope this primary research starts a documented conversation in our region.
