It is important to have an accurate and efficient approach in bedside diagnosis. It is very important to continue to emphasize physical diagnosis in internal medicine.
Perspectives
This publication was very challenging to find the best evidence and to develop a reproducible and effective algorithm to accurately diagnose a pneumonia or pleural effusion. It was also very rewarding to publish this article which means very much to the authors.
