Why is it important?

The paper is based on a comprehensive empirical study (quantitative, qualitative and expert interviews) and encompasses sociological knowlede, ecological, and planning expertise for these first suburban areas within cities. Neighbourhood change is a relevant topic regarding demographic change, support and social contacts. Results can be transferred to similar settlements and housing stock of this age.
