Why is it important?

Subsistence is more than a set of foraging practices and exchange-based relationships between groups of people. It's also a set beliefs and a source of inspiration for the expression of one's selfhood.

Perspectives

I enjoyed researching and writing about a topic (human-environment relations) that seems to take so many shapes and always inspires so many new questions.
