What is it about?

Gastric cancer is the second most common cause of cancer-related death. The survival rates are low, primarily because most patients present with advanced disease due to unspecific symptoms. Despite decades of research, the molecular background of this disease remains poorly understood. This article presents a view on most frequent molecular alterations associated with gastric adenocarcinomas.
