What is it about?
To increase UF in PD patients severely overloaded by UF failure, we infused intraperitoneally 50% glucose solution at 40 mL/h during 1 or several PD exchanges of 2L 1.36% glucose and 4h. Peritoneal glucose concentration was steady below 2.27% and UF increaded extraordinarily, desapearing overhidratation. There were no collateral effects.
