This is relavant because it is not focused on the lexicon men and women use but on how other more subtle linguistic devices are exploited (sometimes unconsciously, I believe) as comunicative strategies.

Perspectives

I think this paper can be used as a starting point for further analysis of the subjectivity to be found in supposedly objective genres such as scientific English
