What is it about?

This article discusses increasing the service life of a gas-diesel power plant. Experience in operating an internal combustion engine (ICE) in various climatic conditions. A proposal is made to modernize the crank mechanism (CRM). The materials used to manufacture the CRM are studied. An increase in useful work, protection of metal surfaces from corrosion, mechanical, chemical and thermal loads, and a reduction in the load on the cooling and lubrication system are considered. This CRM modernization has an increased melting point and a decrease in thermal conductivity. All indicators are changed by treating the mechanisms with ceramic spraying. This process is carried out using a high-temperature flame that melts ceramic particles, forming uniform coatings on the metal.
