What is it about?

The mechanism of occurrence of errors leading to failure of compressor and pump parts is investigated. A method of non-destructive testing of manufacturing accuracy of non-rigid parts with end surfaces of rotation without reducing productivity is proposed.

Why is it important?

Currently, the production of technologically non-rigid parts of axial compressors and pumps is accompanied by the occurrence of technological losses (defects) caused by the loss of geometric accuracy of the products.

Perspectives

The developed means and methods for controlling deviations in the shape of disks can be used in the design of such parts, as well as in assessing manufacturability and solving engineering problems of technological preparation of production at the stage of mastering new products.
