What is it about?
Ischemic stroke presents challenges for patients and healthcare providers, impacting both physical abilities and overall quality of life for survivors. Addressing these challenges requires a holistic approach focusing on enhancing patient well-being, independence, and functional abilities. This study showcases the significant impact of implementing a comprehensive case management approach to stroke care on the quality of life and outcomes of ischemic stroke patients. Our findings support the development of evidence-based interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of stroke patients that can potentially influence clinical practice and healthcare policies aimed at improving patient well-being and reducing healthcare costs.
