Why is it important?

Pathologists influence patient care even when direct patient contact is limited. Measuring empathy establishes a baseline for training and can guide educational approaches that connect laboratory decisions with patients’ experiences and needs.

Perspectives

From my perspective, this work matters because Pathologists influence patient care even when direct patient contact is limited. I hope the findings support further research and informed, evidence-based decisions.
