What is it about?
This study aimed to determine the distribution of chronic liver disease, associated risk factors, and its impact on gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT) activity and alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) levels in Edo State. Method: Sixty participants were enrolled, comprising 30 diagnosed with liver disease and 30 healthy controls. Patients were recruited from Edo Central Hospital, Benin City, while controls were from the general population.
