What is it about?

A study in modern Saudi Arabian laws of nationality.

Why is it important?

It gives a thorough argument to answer back on the discrimination that women's citizenship suffers from. Women in Saudi Arabia cannot pass their nationality to their children when married to a non-Saudi. Whereas, a Saudi man passes his nationality to his children immediately where ever they were born and to whomever he was married.

Perspectives

I am showcasing in this article how that this discrimination has no root in religion nor in modern history of passport holding. The main problem is again patriarchal perspective into women's citizenship which considers women as lacking the essence of bloodline. I am also giving policy makers solutions on how to amend this historic misconception.
