What is it about?
living donor research kidney biopsies are not easily available. we explored whether kidney tissue from organ donors would be a viable option to fill our knowledge gap of how diabetic kidney disease develops in humans. we have concluded that kidney tissue from organ donors, if collected and preserved properly, can indeed be a valuable source to fill this gap.
