What is it about?

This study demonstrated that omega-3 fatty acid DHA attenuates fibrosis in animals with chronic kidney disease (CKD) by mitigating oxidative stress and inflammation. These observations highlight the potential role of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) as an adjunct in the therapeutic strategies aimed at retarding CKD progression.
