What is it about?
Venous stenting is a treatment option for arteriovenous fistulas with central venous obstruction in patients with end-stage renal disease. One of its rare yet recognized complications is stent migration. We present a patient with stent migration in the right ventricle who was successfully and safely treated with cardiac catheterization after the diagnosis was confirmed by chest X-ray (CXR) and transthoracic echocardiography.
