What is it about?

Fluid overload is an important cause of death and transitioning to hemodialysis from peritoneal dialysis. Patients who develop fluid overload early or frequently after starting peritoneal dialysis should be pay attention to intensive fluid management especially in patients with advanced age, diabetes, and high comorbidities.
