Metabolic Differences in Diabetic Kidney Disease Patients with Normoalbuminuria versus Moderately Increased Albuminuria

What is it about?

Many patients with diabetic kidney disease do not show the traditional development of increase protein leakage in the urine. We find that these patients have different metabolic disturbances compared to those with urine protein leakage and could therefore represent a different type of diabetic kidney disease.
