Why is it important?

Understanding how children cope with stress at school, with peers, and within their families helps identify maladaptive patterns early and supports the design of educational and clinical interventions that promote healthier emotional and social adjustment.

Perspectives

As the first author, I see this study as a crucial step toward giving children’s own ways of dealing with stress the attention they deserve, so that schools, clinicians, and families can build support strategies that truly fit their everyday experiences and voices.
