What is it about?
Their goal was to analyze the influence of training, Condition 1 (intraverbal plus pure tacts) or Condition 2 (pure plus impure tacts), on the emergence of two tests involving impure tacts (AB-C, AB-D) and four new intraverbal complexes (BC-D, BD-C) for each of the two stimulus sets (Set 1 and Set 2).

Why is it important?
The results revealed statistically significant differences in performance on the impure and complex intraverbal touch tests, with better results obtained in condition 2.
Perspectives
This is the first work on verbal behavior that presents a between-group design, a large sample of participants, statistical support, and the use of language forms that could be related to the generativity of the language.
