What is it about?
We tried to build an index for conventionalisation of organic farms and showed, how the degree of conventionalisation developed between 2000 and 2009. The main result is, that we can show conventionalisation on the single farm level. However, the organic sector as a whole has not changed in that respect.

Why is it important?
Because quantitive approaches miss. We have many qualitative or single farm studies, however we lack a total overview on the issue of conventionalisation.
Perspectives
I am happy about a nice formal approach to the topic, which might help to get a better and more representative overview on the topic.
