What is it about?

Levamisole is a drug that has legitimate medical uses but is also often found as an illegal additive in street drugs like cocaine, which can cause serious health problems, including immune system damage. Detecting levamisole accurately is important for both clinical testing and forensic investigations. Traditional methods can be expensive and time-consuming, so this study developed a faster and more reliable technique using advanced chromatography and electrochemical detection. The method works even in complex samples like urine and can detect very small amounts of levamisole with high accuracy. This makes it valuable for improving drug safety, monitoring illegal drug contamination, and protecting public health.
