What is it about?

We made porous tin dioxide doped with fluoride crystalline powder in a simple way. These crystals are connected together, which increases the conductivity of the material.

Why is it important?

It can be used as an optical catalyst or part of photo-voltaic cell.

Perspectives

This is an alternative easy method to produce porous tin dioxide doped with any element of interest. Usually, this material can be produced as a thin film, isolated crystals, or by complicated procedures.
