Why is it important?

PZQ-SLNs by SCF shows promising results when using cetyl palmitate as solid lipid. The method produced small-sized SLN, of polydispersity appropriate for oral administration, with a modified release profile and non-toxic against fibroblasts. High encapsulation efficiency was reached for praziquantel in cetyl palmitate SLNs.
