What is it about?

We found that all characterized human G-quadruplex binding proteins share a 20 amino acid long motif.

Why is it important?

We have predicted a new set of potential G-quadruplex binding proteins in human.

Perspectives

We expect that our findings will contribute to the identification and characterization of G-quadruplex binding proteins, and to the development of tools for the optimization of proteins, peptides, or other small molecules that bind to these structures for potential clinical application.
