Marine algae have the advantages of strong adaptability and high yield, which are also considered as the most important source of many biologically active compounds, therefore it is of great significance to make better use of marine algae resources.
Perspectives
Structurally well-defined polysaccharides from marine algae are of great importance for revealing their structure-bioactivity relationships. The chemico-physical properties, biological activities, and molecular mechanisms for MAPs also need to be extensively investigated.
