Why is it important?

Both PFAS exposure levels were highest in older age groups. These groups also have the highest mortality from COVID-19. While this does niot determine causality, it is worthy of further study.

Perspectives

There is a dearth of actionable health information regarding health effects from various exposure levels of PFAS. This study adds important information to our knowledge, and much m0ore needs to be done.
