A review of literature identified that there is very limited published research when it comes to technology assisted interprofessional education for emergency departments on how to better manage dental presentations.

Why is it important?
It highlights that despite the prominence of technology assisted education within emergency department training; this is not the case when it comes to the management of dental emergencies.
Perspectives
Together with my co-author we hope to encourage a greater awareness and utilisation of technology assisted education when educating emergency departments in the management of dental presentations.
