Why is it important?

Understanding neonatal care practices is crucial, particularly in rural areas where family and community norms heavily influence care decisions. This would facilitate the development of evidence-based strategies that align traditional practices with standard clinical guidelines.

Perspectives

From a policy perspective, closing the gap between medical guidance and women’s lived experiences would be more achievable through active community engagement and continuous supervision.
