What is it about?
Impaired estogen signal is the common initiator of insulin resistance, infertility and cancer development. This paper reveals that The theory of multistep oncogenic mutation leading to cancer development is highly questionable. Healthy lifestyle factors upregulate estrogen signaling and may reduce cancer risk even in patients with germline oncogenic mutations. Conversely, Bad habits and lifestyle factors may downregulate estrogen signaling and increase cancer risk even in patients without genetic susceptibility. The study suggest that cancer originates from impaired estrogen signaling rather than excessive estrogen, and that the body attempts to restore this signaling to prevent genomic damage. Bad habits and unhealthy lifestyle factors weaken estrogen signaling and increase cancer risk, while healthy lifestyle stimulates estrogenic regulation and decreases cancer risk.

Why is it important?
There is no need of inherited oncogenic mutation, bad habits may impair estrogen signaling leading to genomic instability and increased cancer risk. Healthy lifestyle may upregulate estrogen signaling helping healthy cells, tumor cells and the whole body in their anticancer fight, even in genetically susceptible patients. Stages of cancer development: impaired estrogen signaling, insulin resistance with compensatory hyperinsulinemia, type 2 diabetes, genomic failure of susceptible organ, cancer. In metabolic syndrome, there is a fight between deepening insulin resistance (red arrows) and efforts for improving estrogen signaling (green arrows) https://www.mdpi.com/2072-6694/18/1/78
Perspectives
Carcer maybe prevented and cured by the upregulation of all genomic processes instead of their inhibition and blockade. In cancer patients, hyperinsulinemia is not a carcinogenic attack, but rather it is a compensatory effort for increasing estrogen signal and improving glucose uptake https://www.mdpi.com/3654348 AI: Hyperinsulinemia is not the primary cause of cancer but rather a compensatory, emergency response of the body to restore defective estrogen signaling and to improve glucose uptake. Main steps of carcinogenesis: Impaired estrogen signaling, compensatory hyperinsulinemia, defects in energy balance, metabolic syndrome, failure in genomic regulation and cancer.
