What is it about?
NMR measurements of diffusion of confined fluids can be used to estimate the ratio of surface area to volume for pores a few nanometers in diameter. Can this strategy be used for narrower pores too? We find that in narrower pores, the diffusivity is not always dependent on this ratio.
