What is it about?

The paper provides a model suggesting the relationship between different morphotectonic units in the cratonic part of India and the adjacent frontal part of the Himalayas. The cross-cutting morphotectonic units in the western part of the Peninsular India and the frontal part of the Himalalayas demarcate the boundaries are identified to be responsible for stress transfer from the collision zone to the plate interior, causing intraplate earthquakes.
