Why is it important?
COVID-19 may cause various cytomorphological and histological features.
Perspectives
clinicians should recognize the pericardium as an important target of cardiovascular involvement and cytomorphological and histological features after COVID-19 infection. Accordingly, clinicians should consider this rare clinical entity in the diagnostic workup of hemorrhagic pericardial effusion.
